Parker Hannifin SSD Drives Division has released a new drive configuration software package called Drive System Explorer (DSE) Lite 2.02. It is available to customers free of charge. DSE Lite 2.02 is easy to use, with straightforward block programming and an intuitive user interface. In addition to supporting user-defined configurations, it offers real-time monitoring and charting. An on-line help function is available for the various drive function blocks.

Parker Hannifin SSD Drives Division Drive System Explorer (DSE) Lite 2.02 works with Windows XPTM and Windows VistaTM operating systems. It communicates with the AC650V, AC690+, AC890 and AC890PX series AC drives and the DC590+ series DC drive with firmware V3.2 or later. In addition, it supports the 590SP, 584SV, 605, and 620 series with firmware V4.0 or later.

DSE Lite 2.02 combines features of DSE890 Lite, CELite, and DSD, while providing an up-to-date interface and more advanced monitoring capabilities. It is backward compatible with CELite files, and it works with all currently produced Parker SSD Drive families as well as several legacy products. And best of all, it is a free download.

Current DSE Users
If you are a current DSE user the following is a list of new features which have been added to DSE890 version 2.02 and DSELite version 2.02 which did not exist in DSE1.47:

•DSELite now supports the 690+, 590+, 650V and etc digital drives as CELite did.
•Can now Extract Drive parameters into an open template.
•The ‘frame’ dependant parameters in the templates are now displayed in color.
•Released the 890 Processor Gateway template and associated firmware.

The following is a list of fixes which have been added to DSE 2.02 which did not exist in DSE 1.47

•The CPW Web Break and the Up to Speed Circuits now work properly.
•Split connections are now handled correctly.
