Heaters
Using the right
heating element for a given application is the key to receiving
good service and performance. There is a diverse array of heater
types to fit various applications. To find the best heater for an
application you should begin in the early stages of design. In some
cases, standard types are appropriate and in other situations a
custom solution is better.
Safety is always
a design concern when Sure Controls is developing a heating system
solution. We use recommended maximum watt density ranges to avoid
damage that can result in internal overheating of the unit. If an
application demands excessive watt densities we can provide special
heaters designed for this purpose.
In addition,
we understand contamination risks and take care to design systems
that keep carbonizing agents such as oil and low temperature tapes
away from the heater and/or use seals. Other factors such as flexing
and cycling also are taken into account when designing systems.
