Project Manager

The Project Manager ensures the customer’s requirements are met (scope), the project is completed on time and within budget.  The role is to work closely with customers to communicate project status and updates to manage project changes to lead the customer to the best solutions.  This is a role that will work with customers internal (sales) and direct with external customers of Sure Controls and develops a new customer base through Partner referrals.  The role is both Sure Controls ambassador to our customers and voice of our customers with our associates.

Project Contract Management

  • Alignment of SYQ, QSS and customer PO
  • Assure deliverables match contract
  • Assure invoicing and blue sheet (realization) execution

Project Procurement Management

  • Administer purchase requests
  • Respond to deviations in required deliverables
  • Working with SC procurement, assure on-time delivery of product
  • Manage any subcontractors contracts involved

Project Planning

  • Execute external kick-off meeting, where needed
  • Gantt chart development and tracking
  • Deviation response development

Project Risk Management

  • Understand and plan for risks identified in the opportunity development cycle
  • In conjunction with project team, identify and minimize effect of risks that come up during execution of the project

Project Resource Management

  • Verify competency and availability of resources for execution against commitments

Project Communication Management

  • Weekly status report delivery
  • Issue tracking
  • Customer change order approval
  • Internal design reviews
  • Closeout communication

Project Scope Management

  • Managing contracted scope (SYQ + Change Orders) to what’s being done to assure alignment
  • Use Gantt to document scope

Project Schedule Management

  • Develop and track using Gantt chart

Project Budget Management

  • Regular report of current costs to project budget for parts, labor and expenses
  • Develop contingency plans

Project Change Management

  • Develop required change orders
  • Obtain customer approval
  • Assure implementation by updating Gantt, assigning resources and establishing commitments

Project Quality Management

  • Follows ANSI, OSHA, NFPA, NEC Guidelines
  • Design Reviews Of Team Members
  • Execute project post mortem to review performance
  • Develop waste report for project
  • Solicit feedback from customer
  • Solicit feedback from customer

Project Closure

  • Execute project closeout process for delivering content to customer and archiving IP
